Only Bella (and maybe Gracie Sharp)

My daughter (the five-year-old) is proudly marching around the backyard in a red-and-white-striped Christmas shirt, silky leopard-print pajama shorts, and red "leather" boots that reach about mid-calf. Ya gotta love her sense of style!

A five year olds choice in dress is always amusing. I can picture her very clearly in my head. I have a five year old neice and I can very much so relate. And there are pictures lurking around my parents house of me doing the same crazy antics at that age. Maybe she'll be an artist, Laura, you never know!

Oh Gracie can keep up with her. Yesterday she wore a green baseball cap with a dark pink headband on top of it. When asked why not wear it on the inside, she answered 'cause I like it this way'. ookkaayy.

No exciting symbolism here or anything. Frankly, I didn't really see the girl as a gypsy lady. In the original template, her face wasn't covered by the posts. I liked the colors and the eclectic nature of the art. It sort of grabbed me, where the others didn't. And it reminded me of the way I like to think of myself -- a little unique. Now that the girl's face is covered, though, it really draws attention to the stars around her; I guess she does have sort of an "astrology" feel to her now. You think? I do have a back-up template option, in case I decide I don't like this one. Opinions, anyone?

Count my 5 year old in on that dressing action as well!

OH, and I should tell you and Paige that today during Thanksgiving lunch, Lana said that she was thankful for her two best friends, Bella and Landy.

I am thankful to have made friens with you all too!
