Time with the Brauers has been very good. Yesterday, Eric gave us an overview of all the work WHM has been involved in here in Ireland -- current churches, church plants, and churches which, sadly, have folded. There is need for support in the city of Cork, in the southeast.
We had lunch at a cafe yesterday. Learned some new Irish lingo:
crisps -- potato chips
chips -- french fries
loo -- restroom
I went to the local Irish grocery with Karen yesterday evening: it was much like ALDI, but with more choices. The foods available provided good opportunity to learn about some Irish traditions. Bought a few food items for the kids.
Yesterday evening, the Brauers prepared a traditional holiday meal with leg of lamb (flavored with rosemary and garlic). It was delicious. Then we watched Batman Begins together.
Peparing to meet the MAP team in an hour. Gotta go get ready.
More later, I hope ...

So good to hear from you!!! I have been thinking of ya'll since Monday. Your kids comments on the last posts made me laugh, especially Eli's. Funny. Loving the lingo your picking up too. Sounds very much like British lingo, or so I've heard on movies. Miss you Mr. and Mrs. Morgan! Be safe! We're praying!
Jenny Says: All is well here and we are continuing to pray for you guys. We are loving the kids. We thought Aden was getting sick (he asked for a bucket instead of breakfast) so Charlotte kept him. He did not use the bucket and is fine! He has been playing all day. We will get him on way to ASC. We are already missing Eli and he doesn't leave till tomorrow. Skye bawled when Aden did not come today. Can't wait for tomorrow. Love to you both and remember, "Mans primary purpose is to glorify God and Enjoy him forever!
Hey mom! And dad. We are doing good over here at the Bartz! I am looking forward to tomorrow we are going on a field trip and then I have dance and play practice! So what do you think of Ireland so far? We are all praying for you! Praying that you won't like it! Just kidding. Anyways Eli says "good night" and I do too! Love ya'll! I can't wait for ya'll to blog again!
Loving the posts. Thanks for keeping us updated. Hope you're taking pictures.

Jenny says: Its Saturday night and I just prayed Sweet Aden to bed. Circ Works was the "Best of All" according to Eli. It was really good! All enjoyed. Eli is delivered to Clay. All is going very well. Be warm and look for the wonder all around you. It is a window to the Soul.
